Hi! my name is Nevline and I love cats. I mean really—I lurv and adore kitties with all my heart and soul. Cat Mama life comes as naturally to me as breathing air. I was born and raised with cats my whole life since I was 2 years old, and I’ve had only short (solemn! 😿) lapses of life without them.
I love cats unconditionally-and while I bond most easily with the allowing ones who will curl up in my arms and let me be their Mama, I love the snooty, standoffish ones too! For cats, I am just a flowing vessel of love that is available for as much or as little as they want to take, whenever they’re ready!
Cats are an essential piece of my wellbeing. They are part of me, and I carry them in my heart and spirit even when they are not physically present. I even sing to them when they’re not around! I have realized that life is just better with cats in it, and cat-sitting is one of the blessings that has brought greater joy and abundance into my life.
I don’t offer in-home cat-sitting purely for money, it’s really an extension of my heart. When I lived in Berlin, Germany, I started off by offering my cat-care services for free to neighbors, just so that I could spend time with cats when I wasn’t able to live with them. Eventually, I moved onto offering free cat-care as a Trusted House-Sitter as a way to travel to beautiful places and explore the country-something I still do from time to time. Every cat guardian I’ve cared for has left me beautiful and touching reviews of how they loved my service.
It was in Spring of 2022 that I began offering paid cat-care services in my hometown of Northampton, MA as a way to better sustain my lifestyle, and offer my service in accordance with what I am worth. Some folks I offered my free cat-care to were so pleased with my service that they offered me money, without my asking! Well, if you insist, ma’am! As such, began my journey into Kitty Entrepreneurship. I have since expanded my professional services to homes in Philadelphia and NYC, cities I enjoy traveling to, and where I’m happy to spend generous periods of time. With that said, I still consider my cat-care to be a holistic exchange offering.
This means I care about the value I give, and the value I receive, beyond just money. There are three main components to how I choose my cat-sits. I care about the home where I am staying, the energy between myself and the homeowners, and of course, the kitties. Want to know more?
