I offer live-in Cat Nanny services for women and couples in Boston during their travels and vacation. You leave your fur-child in my care, and I offer peace of mind over your home and precious baby while you are away. It’s as simple as that!
This page outlines all the fundamentals about my services, pricing, and a few important details, to help you decide whether we would be a good fit! Please take a moment to read through this entire page prior to reaching out. 😉 Thank yew!
My Cat-Nanny Services Include:
- Cat care : daily feeding/water, litter cleaning, allowing your cat outdoor/indoor, keeping them completely indoor, pet-related cleaning, playtime, and unlimited cuddles on-demand. I work from home a lot so kitty will usually have me around for at least half of the day. I am also happy to take photos and share updates of your cats a few times per week, if you like!
- Special Cat care : administering meds, eye-drops, pills, emergency vet visits and phone calls, keeping an eye out for dominant behavior ((eg. one kitty eating the other’s food))-and yes, I have experience with all of the above!
- Home Care : Watering plants, bringing in mail, maintaining home cleanliness.
- Fully Insured service so that all parties are protected!

Pricing:

🚴🏾♀️💨 Please note that these rates do not include potential travel expenses to move in and out of client’s home for the duration of the sit. For sits outside of my normal service area in Northampton, travel fees for Train, Bus, and/or Taxi for move-in and move-out will be calculated at the time of booking, and charged alongside the normal daily rate.
Within Northampton, biking is my sole mode of transportation, and I live in an area that is reasonably close to downtown, but which has no public transit or protected biking infrastructure to get there. My ability to bike to any location on any particular day or time is never guaranteed, due to fluctuations in road conditions, weather, or amount of luggage needed to suitably live in a client’s home.
Although I am occasionally able to bike to sits, it is likely that a car may need to be arranged to pick me up and drop me home, with my luggage and bicycle. I have received much support in this regard from most clients, and choose to exclusively offer my services to those who respect and understand what it takes for me to bike, and who are genuinely comfortable with extending their resources to assist me in safely moving in and out of their home.
Travel fees are either negotiated, or waived entirely based on the preferred method of transportation between myself and the client at the time. As such, Taxi Transportation to and from your home for the initial move in/out may need to be included in the total price. Alternatively, I’m always happy to accept rides from homeowners before and after the sit. Thank you for your understanding! 🙏🏾
I consider my cat-care offering to be a holistic exchange. 🌻
This means I care about the value I give, and the value I receive, beyond just money. There are three main components to how I choose my cat-sits.
Home:
I care about the home where I’m staying. I want to feel good in the homes I stay in, and I want to feel like I am cultivating and maintaining sanctuary in the spaces I inhabit. I love clean, un-cluttered spaces with lots of natural light, and space to stretch my long limbs and do yoga! I value a home that is smoke and substance-free, and which feels like a healthy space for me to spend time and care for my mental and physical health. I will care for your home as mindfully as I would care for my own, ensuring it is well-kept for you upon your return.
Humans:
I care about the energy exchange between myself and the homeowners. I always like to do an in-person meet and greet before agreeing to a house-sit, just so that we can feel out the vibe, talk about catcare, and hash out any questions, expectations, and house rules we might have before the sit! I want to establish good rapport, and for both of us to be at ease while you’re away. I only sit for women and couples at this time.
Kitty:
I care about your kitties. This is a big DUH! for me, but perhaps I should reiterate 😹 I REALLY love cats, and I actually enjoy doting on them, worshipping them, kissing their toes (when they let me), and generally doing whatever is within my capacity to ensure they are happy! I am also satisfied by caring for the “mundane” things, like feeding, scooping doo-doo, administering meds, cleaning gunk out of eyes, etc. It offers a similar level of “Ahhh” satisfaction as taking care of myself. Why? Because cats are an extension of me. I care about how they feel, and I want them to feel cared for. A happy kitty is a happy home. Periodt.
A few more important things! 🚴🏾♀️💨
- I am based in Northampton, MA and I am a full-time bike commuter. I am only available for house-sits in the Northampton metro area, close to downtown, public transportation, and easily bike-able areas. I do have a driver’s license and have a clean driving record if you’d like to lend me your car, but I generally prefer to at least have the option to be a biker or pedestrian with ease. I am native to Northampton, I learned to drive here, and am only comfortable driving in a similarly calm road culture to this area. Western MA is beautiful and there are few exceptions to Noho that I may be open to, but when offering such, please note that I value a reasonable amount of diversity, accessibility, and culture wherever I live. Please do not invite me to a remote hill-town where I’m the only black person in sight and there are no bus lines 😹
- I am open to travel to other cities! My restriction to Northampton metropolitan area only applies to the Pioneer Valley, which is where I am based. I regularly travel as a cat-sitter, to places like New York, Philly, and Boston. I am also open to sits in Brattleboro and Burlington VT, if the stars align. However, when I leave Northampton I tend to favor more diverse areas. I book and arrange my own travel for out of town sits, so my daily rate will be higher. I also only book these sits on trusted referral, or after meeting the homeowner in-person. If you or anyone you know lives in these cities, please feel free to reach out! I am happy to make the connection.
- I don’t sit for dogs! 😇 I only care for kitty cats. I may be able to care for fish, or a little birdie in the home alongside a cat. But if you haven’t noticed, it really is just about the cats around here. No shade! I love doggies deep in my heart of kitty hearts, but caring for them is another animal altogether, pun intended! I am highly accustomed to caring for cats, and my energy is naturally more drawn to them. Ah yes, it’s taken me a while to get here after plenty of requests for dog care. But hey! If you absolutely need someone who will care for your dog and cat at the same time (or lizard, rabbit, or horse), I got you! I am very grateful that Nevline was available to housesit with Teddy while I was away. She has a true loving cat spirit and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. I returned to a tidy house so all is well!
